The 2017 Robinson Prize winner, Yin is the founder of Conscious Style Guide—the first website dedicated to conscious language—and The Conscious Language Newsletter. Named by Poynter as one of the top tools for journalists in 2018, Conscious Style Guide is recommended by BuzzFeed, The Chicago Manual of Style, The Society of Professional Journalists, and many others, including NASA. Yin also founded the Editors of Color Database and the Database of Diverse Databases, and you might know her as the provocateur behind AP vs. Chicago, an irreverent blog comparing those two venerable guides. She is now pursuing her dream of creating books for children.
